The State University of New Jersey, commonly referred to as Rutgers University, has three campuses. The university offers instruction to over 45,000 undergraduate students and more than 20,000 graduate and professional students. Some of the collegiate fashions being sold at Rutgers bookstores now have a hip and cool designer edge. We had the unique opportunity to design 2 collections for Rutgers, in close collaboration with Nick Corey, under the artistic direction of Marc Ecko himself. The standout color — Scarlet Red — was specifically chosen to pay homage to the rich heritage of the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.
